People want to go low carbon. Price, access and complexity stop them. Salary sacrifice clears all three at once, because employees pay for clean technology from gross salary through their employer and save 20 to 50% doing it.
We proved it with electric cars, extended it to charging, and are building the same offer for solar and heat pumps. Every scheme shares the same platform, the same compliance standards and the same employer relationships, so adding one is easy.
We started with electric cars. Employers asked for more, so we built more. Every scheme runs on the same rails.

Impact reporting every year, with the method in the open, so your disclosures rest on evidence rather than estimates.
How we measure impactWe measure the lifetime emissions avoided when a driver moves from petrol or diesel to electric, and report it per scheme and in total.
Paying from gross salary removes the upfront cost that keeps clean technology out of reach. We track the pounds saved by employees, not just units sold.
Our schemes cost employers nothing to set up or run, and give them a figure they can put in their own reporting.
We publish impact figures every year with the method behind them, so clients can evidence their disclosures rather than estimate them.
Live mentions of our schemes across the national and trade press, updated by a daily scan.
Order data from The Electric Car Scheme points to the BYD Seal leading demand across September and October, with the Ford Puma, Jaecoo 5, Kia EV3 and Kia EV5 also in the predicted top ten.

Analysis of the UK net zero challenge from the people running our schemes.
Salary sacrifice is an arrangement where an employee gives up part of their gross pay in exchange for a non cash benefit from their employer. Because the payment comes out of pay before income tax and National Insurance, the employee pays less tax and the employer pays less employer National Insurance on the sacrificed amount. HMRC sets the rules, and the benefit has to be offered through the employer rather than bought privately.
Net Zero Benefits is the master brand behind a family of UK salary sacrifice schemes covering electric cars, home and public charging, solar, heat pumps and the wider net zero home. Employers add the schemes to their benefits package, and employees pay for clean technology out of gross pay through payroll.
Employers can offer The Electric Car Scheme, The Charge Scheme, The Solar Scheme, The Heat Pump Scheme and The Net Zero Home Scheme. They run on shared rails, so an employer can start with one scheme and add others without setting up a new supplier each time.
Savings depend on the employee's tax band, the value of the benefit and the length of the agreement, so any figure has to be modelled per person rather than promised up front. The saving comes from paying out of gross rather than net pay, which is why higher rate taxpayers usually save more. We give employers and employees a per person quote before anyone signs.
Employers usually reduce their employer National Insurance bill on the sacrificed amount, and schemes are designed to be cost neutral to run. Employers do take on some administration and, in the case of cars, an early termination position, which we cover in the agreement before launch.
Most employers go live within a few weeks. The work is an agreement, a payroll process, and a communications plan for staff. We handle scheme design, supplier management and employee support.
Whether you want to launch a scheme, invest, partner or write about us, one team picks up the enquiry.
